Influence Diagram Overview

A DPL Influence Diagram represents all the components of a decision problem -- decisions, uncertainties, and values -- and the relationships among them. The Influence Diagram mainly consists of nodes and influence arcs.

You can model solely within the Influence Diagram pane by setting the default modeling mode within File | Options | General to Influence Diagram. Note that as you add nodes to the Influence Diagram, DPL will build and maintain a symmetric Decision Tree for your (the default tree). For more on this see Decision Tree Overview.
