Policy Summary Filter by Objective Function

Creating a Policy Summary Comparison Using the Objective Function Filter

To create a Policy Summary Branch Filter Comparison, go to Policy | Policy Summary | Compare | By Objective Function while viewing a Policy Tree.

  • Enter the low value for the objective function value range you wish to examine or leave it blank for no minimum.
  • Enter the high value or leave it blank for no maximum.
  • Click OK.

DPL creates a Policy Summary Comparison. The Policy Summary Comparison displays two sets of bars on each event. Blue indicates the policy dependent probabilities for the subset of endpoints that are part of the optimal policy for the full model (i.e., across the entire Risk Profile range for the full model). Red indicates the policy dependent probabilities for the subset of endpoints that are part of the optimal policy and also fall within the range of the objective function specified for the filter.
