If you wish to use a previously defined variable in an expression, you can type the name yourself or have DPL display a list of all variables defined in the model. Click on the Variable icon 
, select the appropriate variable within the Select Variable dialog and press the OK button. Using the icon helps to eliminate the possibility of spelling or punctuation errors.
