If you wish to enter a function as part of a data expression, select the branch and type in the function or click on the select function icon

DPL will open a selection box that displays the names of all functions supported by DPL.
Select the desired function from the dialog and press the OK button. If the function has arguments, you need to update the default argument names in the expression with the appropriate values or expressions.
