Executing Command Statements (Command Program)

Before DPL can evaluate a command, the command needs to be executed. To execute a command, select Command | Execute | Run. During execution, DPL checks for syntax errors in the command statement. If execution is successful, the results are written to the Session Log window. If execution is not successful, a dialog appears containing an error message and a description of the nature of the problem. After you choose OK in the dialog, the cursor is placed at the statement in the command procedure containing the error.
