Breaking a Spreadsheet or Database Link

To remove the link between a node and a spreadsheet cell or a node and a database record, edit the node and switch to the Links tab.

For calculation links (spreadsheet only), select "None (local)" in the "Calculation links" section. The workbook and sheet/cell boxes will be cleared and the link will be broken.

For initialization links (database or spreadsheet), select "None (local)" in the "Initialization links" section. The workbook box (spreadsheet) or Model ID and Node ID boxes (database) will be cleared. You will need to switch to the Data tab and edit the node's data.

If you want to remove all of the links to a particular spreadsheet or database, you can do so within the Manage Links dialog (Decision Tree/Influence Diagram | Links | Manage). Select the spreadsheet (on the Spreadsheet tab) or record (on the Database tab) and click "Remove".
