Separate Probability and Value Data Input Trees

If the values and probabilities of a chance node are not conditioned by the same nodes, you can reduce the amount of data entry by having separate probability and value Data Input Trees. This option is accessed within General tab of the Node Definition dialog. If this is checked, DPL will replace the Data tab of the Node Definition dialog with two tabs, one labeled Values and the other labeled Probabilities. These tabs have the same format as the Data tab. Values for the chance node are entered and conditioned in the Values tab, and probabilities are entered and conditioned in the Probabilities tab.

Once it has been applied, separate probability and value Data Input Trees can only be removed if both input trees are conditioned by the same set of nodes.
