Expected/Potential Values Chart

The Project Expected/Potential Value chart displays the expected value of the objective function and the expected value given success of the objective function (potential value) for each project in the portfolio. The height of the green portion of the column is the expected value. The total height of the column (including the orange portion) is the potential value or the expected value given success.

The bars are sorted from greatest to least based on the potential value of the objective function for each project.

If you select additive view, the expected value of the objective function is used to display the bars cumulatively. I.e., if the first bar has an expected value of 20 and the second bar has a positive expected value, then the bottom of the second bar will begin at 20. (if the second bar has a negative expected value, then the second bar will start below 20).
