The Select from List dialog shows you a list from which you need to select one or more items depending on the context.
Use the Ctrl key with a mouse click to select multiple items from the list. To select a block of items, select the first item with a mouse click, hold down the Shift key and select the last item in the block.
If you can only select one item from the list in this context, DPL will not let you select multiple items. Click on the item you wish to select and click OK.
