The Model Get/Pay dialog allows you to tell DPL what the output variable of the model is. You will only see this dialog in a model that contains only value nodes. With no decision nodes or chance nodes in a model there is no decision tree. Without a decision tree, DPL needs to know which variable to calculate as the end result of the model. Most of the time DPL can figure this out from the influence arcs in the Influence Diagram and DPL proposes the value it thinks should be the model get/pay.
- If the edit box is empty or the proposed variable for the model get/pay is wrong, type the correct variable name in or click the select variable button (
) to select from the list of variables in the model.
- Click OK.
