Chart | Format | Display

The Chart | Format | Display group allows you to modify the display settings for charts.

Histogram: Display a frequency histogram of the data (risk profiles only). A Cumulative chart displays on the y-axis the probability that the plotted data is less than or equal to the x-axis value. A Frequency Histogram chart is a bar chart that displays on the y-axis the probability that the plotted data is within each interval on the x-axis. The default chart type from a Decision Analysis run is cumulative; the default type from a Monte Carlo run is histogram.

Decumulative: Display a decumulative plot of the data (risk profiles only). A decumulative chart displays on the y-axis the probability that the plotted data exceeds the x-axis value.

As Error Bar: Display the percentiles in a Time Series Percentile as a vertical bar from the minimum percentile to the maximum. If not checked, then each percentile series is connected with a line. Percentiles display as a range bar are not affected.

EV/CE Lines: draw a vertical line at the expected value or certain equivalent associated with each series (risk profiles only).

EV/CE Values: include the value(s) of the expected value number or certain equivalent number on the chart (risk profiles, bar/column charts).

Additive: for bar/column charts, display each subsequent bar as a running total.

Column: for bar/column charts, switch orientation.

Shading: display background shading behind chart image.

Vertical: make background shading vertical.

X Grid Lines: add vertical grid lines to the graph.

Y Grid Lines: add horizontal grid lines to the graph.

Dashed Grid Lines: make grid lines dashed.
