The INFORMS Annual Meeting, or more specifically the track of technical sessions sponsored by the Decision Analysis Society, constitutes the largest assembly of Decision Analysis researchers and practitioners in the world. This is important for a company like Syncopation because decision analysts (and related professionals) tend to be spread thinly across academia and industry, and there are few opportunities to find a large number of them in one place.
As always, Syncopation will be exhibiting at the meeting, which this year is in Minneapolis, October 6-9. Tony Manzella and I are regulars, but joining us for the first time this year will be Nicki Franz, our Marketing Coordinator. If you’re at the meeting, by all means stop by, say hello, and pick up some good swag.
Our software demo will take place Tuesday at 2:15pm (Convention center room 210A), or visit the booth anytime for a personal demo. We’ll be showing off the new and newer: both DPL 8, released earlier this year, and some brand new, as-yet-unreleased features that will soon make up a new flavor of DPL above the Enterprise version (code name DPL Uber; more on it in a subsequent post).
